Bless the King, Family!
God gave me the title "This MEDICINE is not your MEDICINE" while I was in Shirley Ryan Ability Lab after spending seven days in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) admission and three days in step-down admission. I pondered this thought. I didn't understand initially what God was telling me. Therefore, I sought the Lord, and He heard, and He answered. Yes, saints of the most high God, when we don't understand, we must seek revelation from God, not from people.
God gave me divine revelation. You see, family, I was in a rehab facility recovering from an unplanned seven-day ICU hospitalization, fighting for my life. I was in surgery for eight and a half hours and lost 3 pints of blood. My blood pressure dropped to 60/40, sending me into hypovolemic shock. BUT GOD didn't let the devil—the evil one—take my life. I recovered and was transferred to the rehab center for endurance and strength training to walk independently. However, another attack came in the rehab center.
I was struck with a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). My temperature spiked, my blood pressure elevated and then dropped, I was severely dehydrated, cold/clammy, and delirious. Staff were unable to get a vein to run the antibiotics, but then God, Jesus Himself, again spoke:
This MEDICINE is not your MEDICINE!
Saints, I was lying in my own vomit when I heard the voice of God out of Ezekiel Chapter 16:6….
And when I passed by thee (Yolanda) and saw thee polluted in thine own blood (vomit), I said unto thee LIVE, yes I said unto thee when thou (Yolanda) was in thy own blood (vomit) LIVE!
God's revelation came! If I was going to be healed, set free, delivered, and returned to complete wholeness, I had to keep in the forefront of my mind and spirit that God Elohim was my MEDICINE, and He had spoken over me—Live!
The physicians assigned to me were directed to give natural medicine. But the Spirit of God was directing my physicians with knowledge because He is the true and living God over my life. The natural medicine was not my medicine—God was and is my medicine. God led me to Proverbs Chapter 4:22. The word, in part, declares that God gives health to all flesh. He also led me to Jeremiah 30:17: For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.
Yes, Tuesday Talks fam, God Himself is our medicine—our Balm in Gilead (a metaphor for divine healing and restorative power)—who heals and restores both our body and spirit, fulfilling His promises.
As I close, God affirmed that medicine in the natural was not my medicine. He uses physicians to prescribe medicine so that health is given to our flesh, as He declared in Proverbs and Jeremiah, to restore us and help us LIVE!!! Saints of the most High God, Chosen people, and guides to His Glory, keep studying His word, and watch our God, Jehovah Rapha, healeth thee!!!
