In times of crisis, God commands us to stop, be still, and know Him.
Bless The King, Fam!
Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad, hurt, disappointed, or afraid right now? If so, stop, and as the Lord commands us to do in Psalm 46:10, be still.
Written during a time of crisis, Psalm 46:10 declares God’s command to us—to stop, to halt, to know God, to seek His heart, to adapt to His ways, and to nurture our relationship with Him.
Let me define the words in “be still and know God”:
Be — to exist, occur, or occupy a state or place.
Still — something motionless, quiet, or calm.
Know —to have information, understanding, or familiarity with a fact, person, skill, or situation, involving perception, awareness, or recognition.
God —the supreme, the being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshiped as creator and ruler of the universe.
Family, we have a relationship with God, and as the above definitions imply, He will be with US wherever we find ourselves.
We are His US (Undivided Saints); we are His children. We chose Him after He chose and drew US to Him, and He will never leave US as He declared in His word.
Therefore, STILL yourself and wait on the Lord, who shall renew your strength, who shall be a very present help in the time of trouble.
BE STILL, KNOW God, family, and watch our God for He never fails! Therefore, go boldly to God’s throne of GRACE (God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense) and receive what YOU need!
SELAH 🔥🔥🔥
Until next time,
Dr. Yolanda
