Tuesday Talks: 🛑 STOP WATERING A DEAD THING

When it is OVER, it is OVER!

Stop watering a dead thing. God is our life. He is our water; He sustains our life.

I’m reminded of the word NEXT. Inside that word is EX! When something is dead, when something is over, when something is an ex, move on to your next and move on quickly! God is the only one who can resurrect the dead. Remember Lazarus in the Bible? Only God could speak to his 4-day-old dead body and cause him to awaken from the dead! Neither Lazarus’ sisters nor his friends could awaken that dead thing; only the power of God could do it.

Therefore, if God has told you to move on—if He said, “NEXT!” then stop watering the dead. My sisters and brothers, get to moving, for it is a harvest on the other side.

Trust God, release that dead thing, and watch your reward come.

Remember these definitions:

STOP — Come to an end, cease to happen.

WATERING — A source of energy from which power may be generated. 

A — Membership of a class of people or things.

DEAD — No longer alive.

THINGS  — Objects that don't have specific names. 

Now, be about your Father’s business.
