Good Day and Bless The King, Fam!
Are you thirsty?
Are you hungry?
You answered YES, but what are you thirsty or hungry for?
Is it natural food or water, or the LIVING WATER that Jesus gives FREELY.
In the John 4, Jesus goes through Samaria on his way back to Galilee. Interestingly, John tells us that Jesus "must needs" go through Samaria, although that wasn't the only way to reach Samaria. He had a reason.
As he rested on a well, a Samaritan woman came to draw water ( hmmmmm someone was thirsty).
Jesus said to her, “Give me to drink.”
That sounds like a directive!
She was astonished, shocked, and bewildered, and said, "Wait a minute. …..
How you being a Jew talking to
me a Samaria . . . Jews have no dealings with us . . ."
BAM🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥
Right there God, Jesus in the flesh, crossed all barriers regarding race and culture and said (I am taking liberty with the text……)
Girl, if you knew who you were talking to you would be asking me for that living water…….the kind that cleans from the inside out.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What is that living water?
I am glad you asked.
It’s the water that springs up in everlasting life (John 4:14).
It’s symbolic of the Holy Spirit that guides you, directs you, loves you, forgives you.
It’s the power we need to navigate life in this world.
We need a refilling of the living water tonight; thus, we pray and thank God for coming by our "Samarias" and finding us and filling us.
Let’s pray family for our fill/refill of LIVING WATER!
